Extending financial literacy to insurance literacy: a survey approach

We extended behavioural research in investment to insurance and proposed a definition of insurance literacy. We designed and carried out an experiment to explore the causal effect of factors that influence insurance decision making. This is the first experimental study in the field of insurance literacy.
